Trusting God

Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

One of the hardest things in a believers life is that we lean on our own understanding. I know that I can trust God when I am confident that everything is going to be okay. This seems to sum up a lot of people's failure to trust God. They simply worry and doubt because they don't understand. I believe if we are ever going to grow in Christ like maturity; we are going to have to throw out logic.
We say what we feel. But what we feel sometimes contradicts what we believe and therefore we wonder why there is no peace in the storm. You can't stand on God's word and your word at the same time. James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." The Word of God will stabilize you when it becomes your thoughts, opinions, and desires. So don't worry God will handle it. God has got it covered.

Seeking the Face of God

I am so glad God is not so far away that we can't reach him. He is not so busy that he dosen't have time for us. He is not so far away they we can't hear him when he speaks. I thank my God that I am a born again christian. I no longer do those things that I use to do because I am learning if I walk in his spirit then that is how I crucify the flesh. I am so glad I don't serve a dumb idol or just another god. But I know Jesus Christ is the one true living God because there was a time that I was not 100% sure. So I began to seek God and stand on his word. I was going to find out if God was real. If Jesus Christ was who he claimed to be. I did not need a belief system. I needed something real that could make a difference in my life. I began not just to pray and read the word because it takes more than just a prayer. You have to put all your heart into seeking God. I began to seek God and stand on his word. I know that we go through tests and trials in this life. I put God's word to the test because if God was real then he would heal me, deliver me, be my provider even when the money ran out. God began to pour out his spirit with visions, his presence, micircles. I have tasted and seen the the Lord is good and that his word is truth. For me it is so much more than what I believe because God has proved himself to me time and time again. Praise be the lamb of God. If you want to truly know God and experience a relationship with God then you have got to truly seek his face and quit playing church. If you pray cause you are supposed to but not cause you want to then blame God for not anwsering your prayers, then you missed it. God is in love with his creation but he wants for his creation to fall in love with him.
